Construction waste
You can’t build without creating waste. The following sorting manual will help you to decide which construction waste should go into which container and which materials should be disposed of in other ways.
Building site rubble
Yes:
mineral waste (concrete, bricks, ceramics, gravel, sand, earth).
No:
materials with hazardous substances, plaster (in certain conditions), insulation material containing asbestos, pressure vessels (gas flasks, PU cans), packaging, building materials containing asbestos
Mixed construction waste
Yes:
mixture of wood, glass, metal, mineral waste (cement, bricks, ceramics, plaster)
No:
materials with hazardous substances, insulation material containing asbestos, pressure vessels (gas flasks, PU cans), building materials containing asbestos, roofing paper, wood treated with preservative, plastic containing PVC
Roofing paper
Yes:
tar and products containing tar
No:
materials with hazardous contamination, mineral waste, metal, wood, glass, paper/ cardboard packaging
Asbestos
Yes:
building materials with an asbestos base, insulation material containing asbestos
No:
material with hazardous contamination
Excavation material / refill material
Yes:
excavation material, refill material and top soil that is almost free of stones and uncontaminated (maximum value in conformity with LAGA [Working group of the German Federal States on Waste] class Z1.1)
No:
material with hazardous contamination, domestic waste, pressure vessels (gas flasks, PU cans), construction waste, earth with a value higher than LAGA class Z1.1)
