Whether in the kitchen or out in the garden – a great variety of waste has to be dealt with. The following sorting manual will help you to decide which waste belongs in the bio-bin and which should be disposed of as garden waste.

leaves, grass, replanting material, shredded wood

sawdust, shavings, residual construction waste, materials with hazardous substances, soil, excavated material, treated wood, animal waste, branches, planks, tree trunks and stumps as well as roots
Branches / tree trunk sections
Yes:
bush/tree sections max. 2 m length, max.10 cm diameter
No:
tree stumps, roots, sawdust and shavings, residual construction waste, asbestos, insulation material, material with hazardous contamination
Planks / tree trunks
Yes:
bush/tree sections max. 2 m length, more than 10 cm diameter
No:
