Hazardous waste

By hazardous waste those materials are to be understood that, owing to their nature, consistency and quantity, are particularly hazardous to health, the atmosphere or waterways or are explosive or flammable or could cause infectious diseases.

These include among others old water-based or oil-based paints, paint sludge, building materials containing asbestos, scrap oil, batteries, chemicals, emulsions, electronic scrap, contaminated soil, contaminated production waste, cooling and brake fluids, alkalis, solvents, industrial consumables containing solvents or oil, neon tubes, empty metal drums, oil filters, contents of oil and petrol strainers, oil-water mixtures, empty PE drums, acids, transformers, condensers, tank cleaning sludge and workshop waste.

The disposal of hazardous waste is subject to stringent regulations in order to protect the environment. That is why small businesses, trade, manufacturing industry and municipalities need a reliable partner for the orderly declaration, storage and disposal of hazardous waste. ALBA will be pleased to take over your responsibility for the correct disposal of hazardous waste of all types in conformity with the law.
