ALBA SE Sells Europe Metals Group

Portfolio optimisation continues

Cologne. ALBA SE, the listed subsidiary of international waste management and recycling specialist ALBA Group, has sold the Europe Metals Group. The current Managing Director of ALBA SE, Rob Nansink, will take on management of the holding with effect from 31 January 2017.

Rob Nansink has informed the administrative board of ALBA SE that he would like to relinquish his office as Managing Director and member of the administrative board of ALBA SE as well as all the other offices held by him in the ALBA Group for personal reasons with effect from 31 December 2016. The administrative board has consented.

Rob Nansink leaves the ALBA Group on the best of terms after many years of successful work. “We thank him for his many years of successful work and we wish him all the very best for the future,” said Dr Axel Schweitzer, Chairman of the Administrative Board of ALBA SE.

Carla Eysel, Head of Business Development & Organisation of the <link https: www.xing.com companies external-link-new-window external link in new>ALBA Group, has been appointed as Managing Director of ALBA SE as of 1 January 2017. She maintains her other functions within the ALBA Group. ALBA SE will apply to the Local Court of Cologne for the appointment of Carla Eysel as a member of the administrative board, also so as to ensure the legally prescribed size of the administrative board until the General Shareholders' Meeting in summer 2017.
