Glass – the classic recyclable

Careful collection and sorting

The experts from ALBA Group offer tailored solutions for disposing of used glass generated by trade and industry - from collection to transport to recycling in state-of-the-art plants. Hollow glass, such as bottles and other types of glass packaging, is sorted by colour: clear, brown and green. For plate glass products such as window panes and car windscreens, our recycling experts provide separate containers.

Conserving resources with a sustainable approach

Glasrecycling

Glass is a common secondary raw material - it is 100 per cent recyclable and can be processed into new, high-quality products over and over again. However, glass has to be sorted accurately - the greater the care taken in sorting the various fractions, the better they can then be recycled. Blue bottles for example should be put in the containers for green glass; it would not impair the quality of that fraction.

Does your business generate used glass? Whether hollow glass or plate glass, in small amounts or large quantities, the ALBA Group's glass specialists offer help and advice, and can dispose of your recyclables reliably, efficiently and in an environmentally friendly way.
